As a relative newcomer to the scene, it did not take long for Ricardo Rae aka Andrew Whitehouse to find his way from a ProTools rig into the world of underground house music. Coming from a live music background playing traditional jazz and classical music Ricardo began his production career writing, performing and recording soul music. Soon after being captured by the House bug Ricky signed his first 12" in 2005 to Phuturesole Recordings under the moniker "Boulevard" with longtime friend and trumpet meistro David Pescott. This track was embraced by club goers worldwide remaining no1 for six weeks straight on Spirit of House.com and saw the development of his partnership with fellow Aussie house don DJ Freestyle. From here Ricardo's music started to find it's way under the fingers of seasoned greats such as Miguel Migs, Joey Youngman, Bryan Jones, DJ Mes, DJ Freestyle, Hippie Torrales, Olivier Desmet (Primal), Aaron Roberts (Phoenix Az) and many more. 2006 saw new horizons after a trip to Miami 06 further strengthening the resolve to produce quality house that not only bumps booties but leaves a message. Currently based in Melbourne Australia Ricardo is continuing to press wax with upcoming releases on Tango Recordings remixed by Chuck Love and a new EP for GuestHouse in SF.
