Pushing Boundaries is never caring about distances or material difficulties. These two producers met and joined their passion for house music. Distance was not a problem.

Matt Shrewd, a promising English talent emerging quickly in the underground house scene with releases in the most respected labels such as Amenti, Myna or Drop, and Jay West, one of southamerica´s most respected house names also making a huge impact in the global house world with releases in Lowdown, Guesthouse, Agave and many more; met and inmediatly congeniated over their same feelings and passion for the underground sounds of house.

Nevermind the distance they started working on projects together. That's how Flavor Recordings was born. This label directed and managed by Matt with base in the Midlands of the UK and with Jay helping out from his Flavor Studios in Argentina, is already in the bag of the most important djs in the circuit.

With a constant hunger for new types of beats, these two prolific producers, also joined forces musically. Their project is called, of course, PUSHING BOUNDARIES.

With debut releases in GUESTHOUSE, one of USA´s favourite new house labels, creating a huge buzz in miami during the 2006 WMC with plays from Iz & Diz, Heather, Farina, and many more, this name started-off with the right foot. Their first work "KEEP IT GOIN" sounded in almost every house party worldwide.

Of course these too guys won´t be sitting around. After this first good impression, new exciting projects are expected soon in their own imprint Flavor and other respected labels. Watch out for Matt and Jay, they proved their skills as solo artists...who would want to miss what they can do together?
